Zaplive.tv Live TV at it’s best and worst. November 27, 2008

Filed under: Your Guess is a good as mine — admin @ 9:07 am

Have you ever felt like you should be broadcasting live over the internet? Well here is a site that will help you promote your broadcast. Right now I’m watch “Live from the African Bush” and some lizard has decided that he wants to be the internet, so he is hanging out in front of LFTAB camera. This is a single shot show, so it is not like watch the “I love Lucy” show. You can broadcast what ever you like, or should I say what ever people will watch, it is an interesting, but I’m not sure if it is ready for prime time just yet. Check it out www.zaplive.tv.

Zeus , Supreme Ruler of the Net November 26, 2008

Cool Websites | Fun and Interesting Sites | Top Site Reviews

Zeus of the ‘Net

Let’s have some fun. I want to see how long it takes Zuesofthenet.com to find out I’ve blogged ’bout it.

I want to write a review of a website that reviews websites and I found Mr. Zeus. Just the fact that they were able to write a review about chickipedia.com and not poking a little fun at the site, is a testament to their sense of true purpose.

Another review about Lifesnapz.com helps the site mature past the “Chick-0-pedia” and Fark.com reviews.

It is short and sweet with the reviews (I like it like that!).All in all it is a great site that will keep you coming back for more.

Get your 15 minutes of fame November 23, 2008

The website realstoriz.com is all about what you have to say. Then you can also read about what other people have to say like Derek Simmondson started with “I was 8 years old when my dad got a job in Chicago…”, then you vote on it. So, you can read the top stories in different categories. It gives a different twist on the you tube thing. Many people can’t be bothered creating a video, but we all can write a quick story, some true others maybe. I certainly have found that this concept is one that will support the egos of many who would like to write a novel, but settle for a short story.

Funny Secret Service Presidential code names November 13, 2008

Filed under: Your Guess is a good as mine — admin @ 10:38 pm

Since times are tough and the country is going down the tubes, the best thing that our government can come up with to help us out is releasing the Secret Service code names for the first family. Normally this would a none news item, after all if they are released to the public they aren’t secret any more. I have had a few secret code name before, but they didn’t make into the national press. I hope that this has made the (non)secret service feel better, because I don’t see the point of releasing anything that is reported to be secret.

The secret service was founded in 1865 as a branch of the U.S. Treasury Department. All they did back then was to protect the currency form counter fitters. In 1901 when President McKinley was killed in buffalo,New York. Some one decided to have them protect the presidents also.

I had a friend who brother was assigned to the Nixon detail when he lived in Saddle River, NJ. Some one came up to them when President Nixon was out for a walked and wanted to know what house Nixon lived in, the dummy didn’t even recognize the former President when they were speaking to him.
